We are a group of students who created this website to help people discover the best thrift stores in the Bay Area. As people who enjoy thrifting ourselves, we wanted to make it easier for others to find great thrift spots without spending hours searching online.
Why We Created This Website
This started with five friends who love fashion, sustainability, and the thrill of finding the perfect secondhand gem. We’d spend weekends exploring spots in places like San Mateo and Palo Alto, sometimes scoring amazing finds, other times wasting hours searching. We kept thinking, “Why isn’t there one place that just shows us where to go?”
So we decided to create it ourselves. What began as a shared frustration turned into a shared mission: to make thrifting in the Bay Area easier for our generation. We care about self-expression, community, and shopping more consciously - and we built this platform to reflect exactly that.
